I’m not photogenic. What if I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera?
Almost every client says this before their portrait experience. You do not need modelling experience to create extraordinary portraits. Professional styling, lighting, artistic direction, and guided posing are all part of the experience. You are supported throughout every step with care and intention. Most clients leave seeing themselves differently for the very first time.
What should I wear?
Every commission includes a personal styling consultation with Mayumi to curate the aesthetic of your portraits. You will receive wardrobe guidance prior to your session, along with access to a curated studio collection of gowns, fabrics, and statement pieces selected over the years. The goal is never simply to dress beautifully — but to create portraits that feel timeless, refined, and entirely your own.
How are the portraits designed?
Each portrait is created with a carefully considered artistic direction. Wardrobe, styling, light, composition, and atmosphere are designed together to create portraits that feel editorial, timeless, and emotionally resonant. The experience is highly collaborative and tailored to each client individually.
Are digital portraits included?
Yes. Every commissioned collection includes corresponding digital portraits presented in a private online gallery. Your gallery allows you to enjoy, download, and share your images across your personal devices while preserving easy access to your portraits for years to come.
What artwork do you offer?
Portraits are available as museum-quality fine art pieces, including handcrafted folio boxes, bespoke albums, and statement wall installations. During your design consultation, we will help you select the presentation that best complements your home, lifestyle, and vision. Each piece is crafted to preserve your portraits with exceptional artistry and permanence for generations to come.
Do clients travel to Innsbruck for their portrait experience?
Absolutely. Many of our clients travel from across Europe and beyond to commission their portrait experience in our private Innsbruck studio.
To make the process seamless, we are happy to provide guidance on travel planning, including recommendations for accommodations, dining, and local attractions. The studio is situated in the heart of Innsbruck, within walking distance of excellent hotels, charming cafés, and the city's most celebrated historic landmarks, allowing many clients to enjoy their portrait experience as part of a memorable Alpine getaway.
For clients traveling from afar, consultation appointments, artwork selection sessions, and design consultations can be conducted online, ensuring a smooth and personalised experience before and after your visit.
Can artwork be shipped internationally?
Should returning to the studio to collect your finished artwork not be practical, all fine art pieces can be carefully packaged and shipped directly to your home. We offer fully insured delivery throughout the European Union, ensuring your artwork arrives safely and beautifully presented.
